Medical disclaimer: fertility information
Thai Fertility Path explains fertility care in general terms and compares what clinics say. It cannot tell you what is right for your body or family.

Information, not a consultation
Fertility care depends on many individual factors: age, ovarian reserve, sperm quality, medical history, previous treatment and more. Our procedure explainers describe how IVF, egg freezing and related treatments generally work. They are not a plan for you, and they cannot predict how you would respond to treatment.
Before deciding on any treatment, see a qualified fertility specialist (a reproductive endocrinologist or gynaecologist working in assisted reproduction) who can examine you and review your results.
Why we do not compare success rates
We do not publish, rank or compare clinics' pregnancy or live-birth rates. Thailand has no single public register that reports them on a common basis, and the figures clinics publish themselves are calculated in different ways, for different groups of patients, over different periods. Putting them side by side would suggest a precision that does not exist.
If a clinic quotes a success rate, ask how it is defined, which age group and treatment it covers, how many cycles it is based on, and whether it counts live births or positive tests.
The law on assisted reproduction
Assisted reproduction in Thailand is regulated, mainly under the Protection of a Child Born by Medically Assisted Reproductive Technology Act B.E. 2558 (2015) and rules issued under it. These set who may receive treatment, which procedures are permitted, and how donated eggs, sperm and embryos may be used. Some practices, such as choosing a baby's sex for non-medical reasons, are restricted.
Eligibility can depend on your marital status, nationality and circumstances, and the law and its regulations can change. Our pages describe the position in general terms and may not reflect the latest amendments. Check your own eligibility with the clinic and, where needed, with a lawyer qualified in Thailand before you commit to treatment or travel.
Surrogacy
We do not arrange, facilitate or recommend surrogacy, and we do not list surrogacy agencies. Surrogacy in Thailand is tightly restricted by law. Any mention of it on this site is general background only.
Prices and packages
Where a clinic publishes prices, we show them as published on the date shown on the page. Fertility packages vary widely in what they include: medicines, monitoring scans, embryo freezing, storage and genetic testing are often extra. Prices can change at any time. Ask each clinic for a written, itemised quote before you decide.
Who writes and checks our pages
Our explainers and comparisons are written by named health writers and read by a second named editor before publication, who checks each fact against its source and makes sure nothing reads as personal advice. None of them is a treating clinician, and nothing here is medical advice. A read-through improves the general information; it does not make it advice for you, and it is not an endorsement of any clinic.

Independence
No clinic pays to be listed or to appear higher on a page, and we take no affiliate, referral or introduction fees from clinics or agencies. Being listed is not a recommendation or a judgement of clinical quality.
Urgent symptoms
Seek medical help straight away for severe abdominal pain or swelling, shortness of breath, heavy bleeding or fainting, particularly during or after fertility treatment or in early pregnancy. In Thailand, call 1669 for emergency medical services or go to the nearest emergency department. Contact your treating clinic as well.
Limits of what we can promise
We take care over accuracy but cannot guarantee that every detail is complete or up to date, and we are not responsible for the care, advice or charges of any clinic. Please tell us about errors at [email protected], without including your own medical details.
